Marco is inspired by the beauty of food and its expressive capacity to reflect the nuance

and “flavour” of people’s customs and daily livings – as well as the often - ambiguous thing

we call culture.


Food, for him, is an artifact of life.

Enjoying many interests and projects, Marco is also an enthusiastic advertising and still life photographer, living and working in Milan.

His style is purely essential, a unique point of view with the laser-like aim of capturing the textures

and palette of every subject.

In his lens, even the humble eggplant unfolds the elegant sensuality of the aborigine it truly is.

In 2015 and 2017, Marco’s work was featured in the screening of the International

FOODPHOTOFESTIVAL in Vejle, Denmark, along with some of the most

renown food photographers in the world.
In December 2016, he shot "Wild Mixology" with Wooding Wild Lab,

a book about foraging, published by Mondadori.

In January 2018, he opened his own studio in Milan,

specializing in advertising, food and still life photography.

His commissions include campaigns for many globally recognised brands

such as Cioccolati Italiani, Veuve Clicquot, Iwc Watches, among others.

In 2019, Marco was one of the five finalists at the FOODPHOTOFESTIVAL

with a preview of the upcoming book " Finché c'è Trippa", produced with chef Diego Rossi,

writer Barbara Giglioli and illustrator Gianluca Biscalchin, published by Guido Tommasi Editore.

Moreover, since 2012, Marco has been running his own personal project, IDFOOD,

a visual research about chef's personalities and its expression in their cuisine.
